Banana, Coconut and Date Balls
2 ripe bananas
6 medjool dates, pitted (from green grocer or fridge veggie section of the supermarket)
1/2 cup desiccated coconut, plus 1/2 extra to roll balls in
1 tablespoon cocoa
1 cup oats
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Make them gluten free by using puffed corn in place of oats.
Turn them into a delicious smoothie by blending one ball with 200ml milk and 1/2 a banana.
